Work completed...
- refinish and polish the case and case back (no rust or corrosion)
- clean, oil and calibrate the movement (reset alarm ring to original spec)
- replace the case back, stem and alarm button gaskets
- remove scracthes from and polish the crystal
- replace the original brown bezel with a nice refinished black one
- clean the original hour and minute hands and relume with SuperLuminova
- replace the original red second hand with another Seiko second hand that has a small lume dot
- replace original brown dial with a brand new original black Bell-Matic dial
- clean the alarm ring and relume the triangle marker with SuperLuminova
...and you have a "brand new" 1971 Seiko Bell-Matic.
